Butterfly valve is simple in structure, small in size and light in weight.
It can be opened and closed quickly at 90° and is easy to operate.
Has good fluid control characteristics.
Inside the cylindrical channel of the valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis, and when it rotates to 90°, the valve is fully open. When the flange butterfly valve is in fully open position, the thickness of the butterfly plate is the only resistance when the medium flows through the valve body, so the pressure difference generated through the valve is very small, so it has better flow control characteristics.
Butterfly valve has two types of sealing: elastic seal and metal seal.
Elastic seal valve, the seal can be set in the valve body or attached to the butterfly plate periphery.
